This product, known as stopping bath, was created to stop rusting process on corten-steel pieces, where rusting has been forced with act-COR . Rusting is stopped for a periode of time, which will be enough for the later application of the varnish at the final process.

bp-COR is an “easy to apply” concentrated emulsion. It is needed to add 50% of water at the time of application (avoid water with a high level of calcium).

It has a milky aspect at the moment of application, which disappears after drying. The final result gives us a thin layer that can darken perceptibly the initial tonality of the forced rusting.

The final work is very typical, and depending on the number of applications it can offer different tones. In some cases we can finish corten-steel treatment with bp-COR, but we recommend the application of a varnish. Using bp-COR without varnish is only recommended at indoor structures like walls, ceilings, etc...

ADVICE: We invite you to read carefully TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION before applying this product. Bad use of this product will take us to an unexpected result. .
